Title: Scratching an Itch

Summary: Juliet needs some company. Miles helps her out.
A/N: Written forlost_in_108 challenge #5 “liquor”.

Juliet shows up on his doorstep with a bottle of Dharma liquor dangling from one hand.

“I’m bored,” she says with a shrug.

You’re horny, he thinks.

He smiles and lets her in.

By the time they reach the bottom of the bottle her shirt is on the floor and his hands are fumbling with the clasp on her bra.

“We shouldn’t be doing this…”

He snorts. They both know she’s only screwing him because she can’t bring herself to screw Jim yet.

“Would it help if I called you Blondie?”

She slips a hand down the front of his jeans and squeezes.

“Shut up, Miles.”

“Yes, Ma’am.”

Ack! This is pure win! OMG, I am SO in love with this. Did you write something else Miles/Juliet? I vaguely remember reading another pic with that pairing and loving it. They're both just so sarcastic ;) This is hilarious - I love that when she says "I'm bored." He knows she means I'm Horny. Hehehe. Fabulous!

Whoo! Miles was right, Juliet does like him! Or something. I like that he sees through her and reminds her that he knows he's not who she's looking for, but doesn't get angsty about it and happily takes what she offers. I also get the feeling, from that excellent last line, that Miles also acknowledges that Juliet chooses him because she has rank on him and can end this affair whenever she likes/decides she wants to move on to Jim, who is higher up the totem pole then Miles.

See it's like you're in my head because everything you just said is pretty much my personal backstory for this that I couldn't fit into 108 words. I think she chooses Miles because she knows he won't say no and because she knows she'll have total control over the relationship (such as it is) and Miles being Miles is perfectly okay with this. ;)

Thank you! Confession: it's long been part of my personal canon that Miles and Juliet had a special relationship (pretty much since Namaste when she so casually took a sip from his coffee cup) and I kind of love the idea that pre-Sawyer she might have sought some non-angsty sexing from another snarky fellow. ;)

And while I was searching for that I found an actual honest to goodness AU Miles/Juliet vid. We are not alone. I pretty much giggled all the way through this because it is so complicated (Miles cheats on Juliet with Kate---naturally---and then she leaves him for Sawyer...but they still love each other! The end gave me a weird reset plot bunny...like I needed another one of those. Anyway, I'm no in love with the song choice, but I'm mostly just impressed that this thing exists.

omg, Miles/Juliet video!? Hahaha, that's pretty awesome! Just went and watched it - the editing was acutally pretty good and I kind of liked the song ;) Very plotty though lol...I was confused! At least they had a description...
