Oh my freaking Jesus! How are you so wonderful? HOW? I am so, so in love with dark!Mitchell, and he is so perfect here. And, jeez, George's dangerous devotion to him and misguided faith in him is so accurate and painful and as much as I want to yell at him to run and save himself I'm also rather pleased at the mental images conjured up by Mitchell catching him. I also so love the line about George being glad that Annie wasn't actually there to see it, because it is so true - it would break her so much. ♥ Thank you so much for writing this for me.
