I still ship them so hard too. Really, Cordelia's my #1 fav. girl for Angel, and he's like my #1 fav. guy for her...so yeah, I can't imagine them with anyone else. And I love how they had a LULZY start in the original BtVS, and then in Angel, it's just like expanded on, and they just went through such an organic friendship to the point where I started shipping them romantically (friends-->loves is one of my romantic kinks, yet I do enjoy the love-hate relationships too) and she's so cheerful, cheerful enough to make Angel happy, and he bought her clothes, and calls her 'Cordy'--just heart forever.~

And I don't want to nitpick, but I didn't see you i.d. the quote as Cordelia/Angel in your post above.
