I’m also looking forward to BBCA airing Bedlam and The Hour.
Most Obscure Show/Celebrity/Book/Movie/Musician You Love: I’m currently obsessed with the soap actor Jeff Branson thanks to my mom’s continued insistence on me watching Y&R with her, not that I complain when his face is on the screen. He’s been in a couple of movies as well, my favorite of which is The Big Bad Swim. So adorable. Also, his voice is even deeper than Misha’s Castiel growl. Yeah, it does make me all melty.

Tell Us About Your Journal: I think I tend more towards the capslock/squee end of the spectrum. I’m ridiculously pan-fannish as you can tell from my fandoms list, but I tend to get tunnel vision and focus on one thing for a short length of time before flying off to my next obsession. At the moment I’m all about GoT, but expect Parks & Rec and Happy Endings to cycle back around come September.

I talk about real life as well (particularly about my nieces, things I’ve cooked, whining about job woes), and books and movies. There’s lots of memes. And I write fic and put together the occasional rec post when I have time to read other folk’s stuff. I’m laid back and hate drama that is not happening on my television screen. I post at least once a week, but usually much more often than that.

I ship a lot of different things, including a handful of brother ships (but not Sam/Dean weirdly), so you should be aware of that. I think that’s about it. Oh, and I’m always going to be a Lost stan…even if I wasn’t a fan of s6.

Tell Us About Your Journal: I post fic, some graphics, occasional videos, personal posts, and fandom posts. Most of all my fandom posts are outside of a friends lock. Personal stuff is usually locked, depending. I enjoy talking about meta-y things. I like to squee just as much as I like to critique things and think that a part of loving a show is analyzing the text and the characters, even if that means you don't love every part of a show. I love movies too. My ship tastes are largely non-canon which is reflected by the fic I write. I am pretty vocal about my opinions, even if they happen to be unpopular. Very much pan-fannish. (Which my fandoms list should indicate.)

Tell Us About Your Journal: Mostly fannish stuff. I talk very freely about my real life, about things going on with me at any given moment, but I'd say that's about only about 20% of the time, if that. Mostly I post about my fandoms and do posts that include links to picspams and icons and basically anything that I find noteworthy from fandoms I follow that I think people on my flist would like or should know about.
Fannish Pet Peeves: Wank, goes without saying I supposed. Bashing of characters or ships. Fandom entitlement is my biggest pet peeve, but that's more of a general attitude than something I see in specific instances. Basically, just be nice and thoughtful and we won't have a problem.

Tell Us About Your Journal: I vacillate between exuberant capslock flail and TL;DR meta analysis. I think it's completely possible to critically analyze something while still enjoying it (in fact, much of my enjoyment from the entertainment I consume comes from analysis). I don't have an issue at all with the consumption of problematic media (god knows I enjoy plenty of it myself), I just think it's important to watch with a critical eye as well as a fannish one. Let there be both squee and meta! Regardless if I'm capslocking or meta-ing it up, my entries do tend to be on the long side. I have a habit of collecting various talking points for my entries so they usually contain a bunch of bullet-pointed paragraphs. Most of what I write is fandom or pop culture-related, but I do include some real life stuff if I think it's interesting to share. Fannish Pet Peeves: I don't expect everyone to look at media with a superb critical eye, but if you're going to hate on a relationship or a character for flimsy reasons like "I don't like their face" or "they are in the way of my OTP" or "they are female" then you are basic and I will have very little time for you. I'm not easily offended when it comes to fandom opinions unless they are based in complete ignorance and thoughtlessness. Things like slut shaming, misogyny, and mindless perpetuation of various 'isms grind my gears. I would prefer to have journals on my friends list that post actual content (so no fic, graphics, or memes-only journals... though I do love me some memes) and I appreciate people who comment semi-regularly. No drama-llamas who ride the waaaaah-mbulance. Also for the love of god use LJ-cuts. They are your friend.

Tell Us About Your Journal: I post a lot of intersecting social justice and fandom- analyzing movies/TV/etc for their treatment of minorities and so forth- but my language isn't very academic, and I try- and am working towards- to avoid being unyielding in my opinions. I believe that fandom should be a safe place, and a fun one. That doesn't mean ignoring serious problems, but it does mean recognizing the battles that are and aren't worth fighting. Like, if you're not a huge fan of Nina from Being Human, that's fine, but if you're calling her a bitchface hobag who deserves to die painfully, that will cause problems. That kind of thing.

I have OCD, nonverbal learning disorder, and social anxiety. Generally my talk about this is under a filter, but I'm usually happy to explain what it entails if you're confused. If it seems like I'm ignoring you chances are I'm not- you just happen to have caught me without any spoons. That said, I do find initiating contact difficult sometimes because of the anxiety, so don't be afraid to talk to me first- chances are I'll welcome it.

Tell Us About Your Journal: My journal is actually like 99% unlocked so you can probably see what it's like, but it tends to be a mix of fandom squeeing/television reactions and stuff going on in my life, although right now my life is super boring, so it's leaning much more towards fandom stuff at the moment. I occasionally picspam stuff. I tend to capslock a lot, although I normally try to make the things I post mostly coherent. I tend to be devoted to a bunch of different fandoms. There are a few that usually greater in my heart (right now that would be Parks and Rec, The Good Wife, and Game of Thrones), but I talk about most things I watch, and I watch a lot of stuff, so I tend to post about different things. I usually latch onto one ship in a show and don't multi-ship very well (although I'm getting better at that!), but I never bash people for shipping different things; I try to be as respectful as possible of other ships (although that doesn't mean I won't point out things that I find flawed about ships/characters I don't like).
Fannish Pet Peeves: People who bash others for what they ship or what characters they like. Also, perpetuating the various -isms, particularly hate for female characters for no real reason and slut shaming.

Tell Us About Your Journal: Well my LJ is "Friends Only" because I like knowing who reads my 'awesome' entries. I would say I post about once a week or when something really amazing happens that I feel like everyone should know about. I do go caplocks when something REALLY fangirlish happens but I don't abuse it or I put it behind an LJ cut. I talk about my real life stuff, school, movies, music (lots of Brand New talk). Pretty much befriending me is like becoming friends with Leslie Knope/April Ludgate.
Fannish Pet Peeves: LJ cuts are so underrated! Nothing irks me more than people who post multiple gifs in their entries and don't put then behind a cut, there's nothing wrong with one or two but when you're whole entry is gifs we have a problem. I don't like to bash other peoples' fandoms. And I don't like when people are like for example, "I hate Harry Potter because blah blah" but they've never read any of the books or at least watched the movies.
