Wow, this is such a pitch-perfect intepretation of both characters ... it reads just absolutely in tune with each of them. This is so fantastic because they manage to connect, deeply, without it being oversentimental (which wouldn't fit them) or overdramatic, though they're both so tragic in what they've become post-island. Great work!
