I’m also looking forward to BBCA airing Bedlam and The Hour.
Most Obscure Show/Celebrity/Book/Movie/Musician You Love: I’m currently obsessed with the soap actor Jeff Branson thanks to my mom’s continued insistence on me watching Y&R with her, not that I complain when his face is on the screen. He’s been in a couple of movies as well, my favorite of which is The Big Bad Swim. So adorable. Also, his voice is even deeper than Misha’s Castiel growl. Yeah, it does make me all melty.

Tell Us About Your Journal: I think I tend more towards the capslock/squee end of the spectrum. I’m ridiculously pan-fannish as you can tell from my fandoms list, but I tend to get tunnel vision and focus on one thing for a short length of time before flying off to my next obsession. At the moment I’m all about GoT, but expect Parks & Rec and Happy Endings to cycle back around come September.

I talk about real life as well (particularly about my nieces, things I’ve cooked, whining about job woes), and books and movies. There’s lots of memes. And I write fic and put together the occasional rec post when I have time to read other folk’s stuff. I’m laid back and hate drama that is not happening on my television screen. I post at least once a week, but usually much more often than that.

I ship a lot of different things, including a handful of brother ships (but not Sam/Dean weirdly), so you should be aware of that. I think that’s about it. Oh, and I’m always going to be a Lost stan…even if I wasn’t a fan of s6.
Fannish Pet Peeves: People who never post/comment, wank of any kind, character bashing.
Anything Else:

Hmm...it depends. Are you going to watch The Secret Circle for me and let me know if it sucks? I'm trying to decide if the combination of Lux and Gale Harold's face are compelling enough reasons to watch. ;)

Hi! We have a lot of fandoms in common (basically all your current fandoms but The Killing, Being Human, and IT Crowd, plus many of your past fandoms), I relate to nearly all the characters you listed, and I just finished getting through the ASOIAF series last week! Friends?

Absolutely! I grew up watching Y&R and I can't seem to shake the habit even though I think I loathe 90% of the characters. But it did introduce me to Branson who is freaking amazing. GUH. That man. <3

Yeah, I would say 90% of the characters are pretty loathsome lol. It's a shame because Y&R has this tendency of snapping up really great actors who have been on other soaps and then giving them these really stupid, unlikable parts.

I've loved Jeff Branson since he was on All My Children. He's just so swoonworthy. After he left he was on Guiding Light, which is like the only soap I've never watched, and I totally thought about watching just to see him.

Do you mind if I add you? We've got a ton of fandoms in common, I too am super excited about The Vampire Diaries, Parks & Rec, Happy Endings, Parenthood, Community, and Downton Abbey and Freaks and Geeks is my favorite show ever, so anyone who also loves it, must be ok in my book!

I watched F&G last year and it blew me away. I had how good it was supposed to be for years, and I figured nothing could live up to that level hype, but it totally did. Such an awesome show.

I feel like we should be friends. Our interests seem to be quite in line, you relate to Miranda AND Daisy, SUPER 8, and holy shit - I thought I was the only person on the planet who knows who Jeff Branson is. THAT VOICE. I remember his days as a baddie on All My Children quite fondly, and got overly excited when he switched to Y&R (the only other soap I keep track of).

OMG, you're a Jeff Branson fan!?! I'm so obsessed with that man right now and I have no one to talk to about him. His voice kills me. It's like in that episode of Black Books where Fran turned into a puddle every time the radio guy opened his mouth. Damn. It breaks my heart that he did I Spit On Your Grave because there's no way I can sit through that. Dude, needs to make better movie choices so I have more places to get my Branson fix. ;)

It will never cease to make me angry that Josh Duhamel (his "brother" from AMC!) has had a more successful movie career when clearly Jeff's the prettier, more interesting actor. X^D
